Looking for a different strain to switch off to?  Hulu Kapuas comes from a thick forest on or near the Island of Borneo.  The Hulu forest is on the banks of the Kapuas river.  Thus the name Hulu Kapuas. Why Hulu Kapuas is so rare is that it is an isolated location with minimal known inhabitants and those inhabitants are hard to find. Hulu Kapuas has the same alkaloids that all Kratoms have, yet it also has many (15) relatively unknown alkaloids. The effects are sharp motivation, stimulation and mood elevating which is visible.  A good social strain.  Its effects are similar to drinking strong coffee.   The activation of a clear body and mind is its most notable quality.  The significant pain relief one will get with Hulu Kapuas takes a little time to develop but is well worth the wait.  The pain relieving effect gets stronger and so does the sedation.  At this higher level it provides relief of chronic illnesses such as Osteoarthritis and joint pain.  The Red Strain is has high content of alkaloid which makes it a great analgesic.  The Green strain is kind of just mediocre in its potency of effects and are non-sedative and non-stimulating.  The White however, is useful in the relief of stress, depression, panic attacks and for building energy.  It is best for morning use.
